Battery Disposal Instructions
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure professional disposal. You can return batteries free of charge after use at the point of sale or in the immediate vicinity (e.g. at municipal collection points or in stores).
2. Meaning of symbols
Batteries or rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the crossed-out trash can symbol. This symbol indicates that batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. The chemical name of the pollutant is located near the trash can symbol. Cd represents cadmium, Pb represents lead and Hg represents mercury.
